Obituary of Victoria A. Lashomb
Victoria Ann Lashomb, 58, of Malone, NY., passed away early Wednesday morning, March 14, 2018, at her home, while under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country, Inc.
Born in Potsdam, NY., August 5, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Rushlow Lord. She graduated from St. Lawrence Central School, in Brasher Falls, NY., in 1978.
She enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and bingo, home crafts, and shuffleboard.
Survivors include her step father, Phillip Safford of Constable, NY., two sons and a daughter in law, Mark and Nadine Snyder and Raymond Snyder, Jr. all of Westville, NY., one daughter, Lillian Davis and her companion, Thomas E. Herne of Hogansburg, NY., four sisters and a brother-in-law, Emily Plourd of Massena, NY., Rose and Chris Mattas of Schoharie, NY., and Renota and Rosaline Lord, two uncles and an aunt, Conrad Rushlow of Constable, NY., and Elizabeth and David Wells of Helena, sixteen grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her mother, Margaret Lord Safford, her father, Francis Lord and one sister, Kathleen Rushlow.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until Noon at the Cappiello-McKenzie and Cosgrove Funeral Home, in Fort Covington, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at Noon in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Burial will be in the new St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Fort Covington, NY., in the Spring.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Alice Ballard Fund of Hospice of the North Country, Inc. in Malone, NY.
