Obituary of Isabel M. Brady

Miss Isabel M. Brady, 102, of Malone, NY., passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, March 12, 2017, at The Dawn, in Malone, NY. She had been a resident there since June 19, 2003. Born in Malone, NY., April 5, 1914, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Garvin Brady. She graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone, NY. Many years ago, Isabel was employed by Murphy Insurance Company in Malone, NY. She was later employed in the Franklin County Veterans Office in Malone, NY., from May 6, 1957 until December 31, 1981, when she retired. She was a communicant of St. Andre Bessette Parish, at St. Joseph’s Church, in Malone, NY. She was a life member of the Malone Catholic Daughters and the St. Joseph’s Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed scrap booking. Survivors include many cousins. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Miss Eva E. Brady on December 6, 2003. Calling hours will be Thursday from 2-3 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating. Spring Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on the Lake Titus Road, in Malone, NY., on Tuesday April 25, 2017, at 9 a.m. Donations may be made in her memory to the Malone Catholic Charities.
