Obituary of Douglas Leon Robert

Douglas Leon Robert of Malone, NY., passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019, at the U.V.M. Medical Health Network- Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY. He had been a patient there since April 2.

Born in Malone, he was the son of the late Leon and Eileen Burchell Robert. He graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy in Malone and attended Plattsburgh State University.

Doug was employed by the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Brushton, NY., for several years. He enjoyed cooking and making homemade jelly and preserves.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Patricia Robert of Malone.

There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial will be held in the spring at Morningside Cemetery in Malone, on a date to be announced.
