Obituary of Rita G. Wilson

Rita G. Wilson, 94, of Constable, NY., passed away Tuesday night, July 23, 2019, at The Alice Center, in Malone, NY. She had been a resident there since April 2, 2019.
   Born in Chateaugay, NY., August 20, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Osborne A. and Minnie Sharlan Griffin.  
   On June 24, 1949, she was united in marriage to Charles Speed Wilson, at Notre Dame Church, in Malone, NY. He predeceased her on May 27, 2004.
   Many years ago, Rita was employed by Sid G. Spear Insurance Agency in Malone, NY.
   She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, in Constable, NY and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed reading, knitting and crocheting.
   Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Douglas Wilson of Minden, NV., and David and Melinda Wilson of El Dorado, CA., eight grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren.
   Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one daughter, Marilyn Wilson and one brother, Francis J. Griffin.
   There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019, at 1 p.m., in Notre Dame Cemetery, in Malone, NY.
