Cassidy June Spinner, 12, of Malone, NY., passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY., with her loving family by her bedside.
Born in Plattsburgh, NY., February 22, 2008, she is the daughter of James and Lori Dwyer Spinner, Jr. She was named after her maternal great grandmother, Claire Cassidy Dwyer and her paternal grandmother, June Spinner.
She was a student at the Malone Middle School, and was a sweet, smart and caring little girl.
Cassidy enjoyed playing Mine Craft and Roblox with her friend Brandon, listening to Imagine Dragons, reading, drawing and everything the color purple. Many hours were spent playing video games with her brother, Aidan. She loved caring for animals, especially her cats, Skyler and Sadie and her dog Shadow.
Along with her parents, James and Lori Spinner, Jr. of Malone, NY., she is survived by her brother, Aidan Spinner, at home, her maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Dwyer of Chateaugay, NY., her paternal grandparents, James and Brenda Spinner, Sr. of Malone, NY., several uncles and aunts, Terry, Kelly and Randy Dwyer all of Chateaugay, NY., Paula Walfield of Chazy, NY., Jared and Lisa Spinner and Jordan and Kelly Spinner all of Malone, NY., a special cousin, Avery Parker of Chazy, NY., and several other cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, John Dwyer and her paternal grandmother, June Spinner.
There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial will be held Tuesday April 28, 2020, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, on the Child Road in Malone, NY., at 2:30 p.m., with Deacon Brian Dwyer officiating.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Cat Palace in St. Regis Falls, NY.
