Veronica Williams, 72, of Constable, NY., passed away Tuesday night May 19, 2020, at the U.V.M. Health Network Alice Hyde Medical Center, in Malone, NY., with her loving family by her bedside.
Born in Suffern, NY., February 23, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Stella Reardon Barse. She graduated from Salmon River Central High School in Fort Covington, NY., in 1966.While in high school, she sang with the school choir and was selected to participate in the All County Choir.
Veronica was a homemaker. She also provided care for the elderly and children.
She was a member of the North Bangor Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and watching soap operas. Veronica enjoyed spending time with her friends and family and attending her grandchildren’s events. She was a communicant of St. Augustine’s Church, and sang with and directed the choir.
On July 15, 1978, she was united in marriage to Clarence J. Williams in North Bangor, NY. He survives.
Along with her husband, Clarence, she is survived by four sons, Gary Williams and his wife, Kristine of Sidney, NY., Ricky Williams and his wife, Donna of Malone, NY., Timothy Williams and his companion, Marsha Lamica of Bangor, NY., and Randy Williams of Constable, NY., two daughters, Kelly Mora and her husband, Peter of Westville, NY., and Donna Williams and her husband Don Otis of Westville, NY., six brothers James Barse and his wife, Shirley of Brushton, NY., Christopher Barse and his wife, Sally of Bombay, NY., Harold “Sheldon” Barse and his wife, Marcia of Bangor, NY., Walter “Matthew” Barse and his wife Caroline of Malone, NY., Stephen Barse and his wife, Tammy of Fort Covington, NY., and Dominic Barse and his wife, Lisa of North Bangor, NY., two sisters, Joyce Rayome of Long Lake, NY., and Martha Rust of Burke, NY., a brother-in-law, Phillip Lauzon and his wife Sylvia of Fort Covington, NY., ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, John and Joseph Barse, two sisters, Virginia Lamay and Barbara Lauzon, a brother-in-law, Buddy Rust and one grandson.
A Graveside Service and burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Noon, at St. Augustine’s Cemetery, in North Bangor, NY., with Deacon Brian Dwyer officiating.
Donations may be made in her memory to the North Bangor or Westville Volunteer Fire Department or E.M.S. or to St. Augustine’s Church, in North Bangor, NY.
