Obituary of Michael H. Yaddow
~ Michael H. Yaddow, 52, of Port Orange, FL., and formerly of Fort Covington, NY., passed away Sunday April 30, 2017, at the Hospice Center, in Port Orange, FL.
Born in Malone, NY., June 8, 1964, he was the son of the late Howard and Kathleen Rousell Yaddow. He graduated from Salmon River Central High School, in 1982.
He served in the United States Air Force from 1982 until his Honorable Discharge in 1986.
Michael retired as a sergeant with the New State Department of Corrections at Upstate Correctional Facility, in Malone, NY.
Michael was known for his love of the outdoors, his ability to fix anything, and his gatherings at camp, where everyone became family. He will be surely missed by his dogs “Scrappy Doo”, “Lilly Doo“ and “Scooby Doo“.
Survivors include his one daughter, Jessica Yaddow of Port Orange, FL., his companion, Darlene Dow of Plattsburgh, NY., one brother, Charles Yaddow of Tampa, FL., five sisters and three brothers in law, Catherine and Loren Dupra and Valery Hance all of Fort Covington, NY., Pamela and Steven Steiner of Warren, PA., Michelle and Lloyd Henault of Burke, NY., and Angela Elmer of Massena, NY., and many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Ida Marie Yaddow and Christine Yaddow.
There are no calling hours. A Graveside Service and burial with full military rites, will be held Friday, June 2, 2017, at 1.p.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, in Constable, NY., with the Rev. Thomas Kornmeyer officiating.
