Debbie was my cousin; and growing up we didnt get to spend a lot of time together; but in my memories, she and Denise were always so groovy, and sweet and beautiful. Deb was beautiful still. Over the past few years we had grown closer, mostly through frequent phone calls where she would make me laugh out loud with her wicked dry sense of humor. She was always spot on with sending cards (keeping the PO in business) at just the right moment, or making me laugh out loud with her self-deprecating comments and sly observations. Her love and commitment to family knew no bounds and her respect and empathy for animals was admirable (its a Grammy thing). I will miss her every day.
I am so so sad for her family-especially Denise and Matt and Savannah, who she adored and bragged on incessantly. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
