Obituary of Marty J. Dupra

Marty J. Dupra, 38, of Fort Covington, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 15th, 2021 in Santa Clara, NY.
Born in Saranac Lake, N.Y. on March 2nd, 1983, he was the son of Loren J. and Cathy Yaddow Dupra. They survive.
Marty was a graduate of Salmon River Central School in Fort Covington, class of 2001, and had been employed as a machine operator at Mohawk Trading in Hogansburg, N.Y. for the last several years.
He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved riding his ATV, hunting, ice and river fishing and camping. He was also an avid fan of the Boston Bruins Hockey Team and was a member of the Spring Cove Hunting Club.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Matthew and April Dupra of Fort Covington, NY; the love of his life Brandy Brown and her son the beloved Wyatt Wilson, and a son soon to be born, Joseph William Dupra, a special niece, Mackenzie J. Dupra and a special nephew and Godson, Alex J. Dupra both of Fort Covington, NY, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Levi and Mildred Dupra; his maternal grandparents Howard and Kathleen Yaddow and a special uncle Donald Dustin, and several other aunts and uncles.
Calling Hours will be held at the Cappiello-McKenzie and Cosgrove Funeral Home, in Fort Covington from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, May 24th, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 25th at St. Mary’s Church, in Fort Covington, with the Rev. Raymond Moreau officiating.
Donations may be made in Marty’s name to the Spring Cove Hunting Club or to the Go Fund Me page set up to help with the funeral expenses and his future son’s needs.
