Obituary of Roberta J. Lyons

Roberta J. Lyons, 84, of Malone, NY, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 16, 2021, at C.V.P.H., in Plattsburgh, NY, with her loving family by her side. She had been a resident there since June 15. Born in Malone, NY, September 1, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Bertha Stanley Lyons. She graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone. Roberta was a hairdresser and later owned and operated a restaurant in Malone. She was a licensed real estate agent in California for many years. She was a devout Christian. She had served as president of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Lyon’s Club in California and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed home crafts and reading. Roberta was married to Donald Jeror in 1954. He predeceased her February 19, 1999. Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, Keith and Lorie Jeror of Malone, NY, Donald Jeror, Jr. of Utica, NY, and Mark Jeror, Sr. of St. Regis Falls, NY; one daughter, Gina Wiley of Oswego, NY; one brother, Stanley Lyons of Albany, NY ; one sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Barbieri Wilcox of Gloversville, NY; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her companion, Edward Bouissey and two sisters, Joan Starring and Connie Marlowe. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Noon, at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, NY, with the Rev. David Tue officiating.
