Mitchell Lembke, 30, of Fort Covington, NY, passed away unexpectedly Saturday July 31, 2021, in Malone, NY. Born in Plattsburgh, NY, April 26, 1991, he is the son of Minka McElwain Lembke and John Lembke. He graduated from Salmon River Central School in Fort Covington, NY, in 2009, and later graduated from NCCC in 2011. Mitchell was employed by the Smoke Stack in Hogansburg, NY. as a cashier. He enjoyed kayaking, fishing, playing hockey and lacrosse. His most treasured times were spent with his family, especially his niece and nephews. Survivors include his mother, Minka McElwain Lembke of Fort Covington, NY; his father, John Lembke of Bombay, NY; one sister and brother-in-law, Joey and Bradley Lazore of Fort Covington, NY, and his niece, Ily Mia, and nephews, Draven and Kenndrick; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends with whom he had great moments in life, that they will all cherish forever. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021, at the Bombay Pavilion, in Bombay, NY, starting at 2 pm. Donations may be made in his memory to the Fort Covington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.brusofuneralservice.com.
