Obituary of Carl W. Smith

Carl W. Smith, 38, of Malone, NY, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at C.V.P.H. in Plattsburgh, NY. Born in Champaign-Urbana, IL, February 27, 1983, he was the son of Norman and Mary Rousseau Smith. He attended local schools. Carl was employed at various farms in the area. He enjoyed camping. Survivors include his father, Norman Smith of Malone, NY; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Mark Niles of Malone, NY, his paternal grandmother, Therese Trushaw of Malone, NY; two sons, Sebastian and Abraham Smith both of Malone, NY; and three sisters, Amie Reid of Apex, NC, and Trinity and Noel Niles of Malone; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, in Saranac Lake, NY. Donations may be made in his memory to the Saranac Lake S.P.C.A.
