Obituary of Anna M. Cox

Anna M. “Annie” Cox, 63, of North Bangor, NY, passed away unexpectedly at her home, on Friday, August 27, 2021. Born in Malone, NY., February 27, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Richard J. and Cleo Perry McGee, Sr. She graduated from Franklin Academy in 1976. Annie worked at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena, NY, and later for the Adirondack, A.R.C., in Malone. She retired in 2010, because of her health. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and her family. She was a loving, kind woman who always thought of others and helped whenever she could. , Her grandchildren were here world. She enjoyed playing computer games and spending time with her fur baby, Rosie. On February 29, 2008, she was united in marriage to John Cox in Brushton, NY. He survives. Along with her husband, John, she is survived by one son, Josh Jeror and his companion, Kim Greco of Syracuse, NY; two daughters and a son-in-law, Grace and Curt Matlock of Rome, NY., and Misti Baker of Vermont; two stepsons, John Cox II and his wife Sarah and Evan Cox all of Malone, NY., two stepdaughters, Jean Cox of Massena, NY., and Krista Willmarth and her husband, Scott of West Carthage, NY; one brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Dr. Richard J. McGee, Jr. Th.D;DDiv, and his wife Frances of Fayetteville, NC; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Allan Shearer of Huntingdon, Que. Canada and Tina and Ray Pritchard of Malone, NY; several grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and cousins, along with her fur baby Rosie. Calling hours will be Friday, September 10, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY. A Funeral Service will be held at noon, in the funeral home chapel, with her brother, Richard, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Brushton, NY.
