Obituary of Monique Starr Deragon

Monique S Deragon, 53, of Constable NY passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday October 19, 2021 at her home. Born in Malone, N.Y. December 1, 1967 she was the daughter of Ronnie & Star Cartier and Brad & Joanne Robert. On April 20, 1990 she married Ronald Deragon Jr, he survives Monique graduated from Franklin Academy in 1986, where she made life long friendships with people in her class, as well as her husband's, she was a kind and gently soul liked by many, and she touched many lives during her earthly stay. She worked for North Star Industries in Chateaugay from 1988, where she enjoyed serving the community and those with special needs, right until she retired in 2021. It was a career she truly enjoyed and as a result of it every resident she worked for also enjoyed her being there, and she enriched their lives over the years. She especially enjoyed spending her free time having fun with her boys, friends and family. She will be especially missed by her best friend and partner in crime Renee Allen with whom she could only be described as two peas in a pod. Monique is survived by her two sons, Joshua of Westville and Ian of Malone, Father Ronnie Cartier of Westville, Sister and brother in law Amber & Paul Hanna of Malone, Aunt and Uncle Robin and Ronnie Reome, step mother Joanne Robert, two half sisters Melissa & Tammie and a half brother Bradley,a step-brother and his wife Ronald and Marcella Cartier, Uncle Richard Robert and Aunts Claire Robert, Linda Fleury Monique was predeceased by her Mother Star Cartier and Father Brad Robert, and brother Noel and several aunts and uncles Calling hours will be Friday October 29, 2021 from 1pm to 3pm at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home, in Malone, NY.
