Jeffrey D. Supernault, age 65, of Brushton, N.Y., passed away on November 19, 2021, at the U.V.M. Health Network: Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y. after a lengthy illness.
Born in Malone on April 23, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Norma Reome Supernault.
Jeffrey entered the U.S. Navy in 1974 and served until 1978. Following his stint in the Navy he worked several jobs, and then joined the U.S. Army from 1989-2005, where he and his family moved to many different places, Alaska being his favorite. Including time in the Army Reserve, he retired with 20 years of service, earning the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, Good Conduct Medal, Gold Recruiter Badge with three Sapphires, an Overseas Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
On June 19, 1986, he married the former Mary Lou Demers at the Chasm Falls Methodist Church. She survives.
Along with his wife of 35 years, Jeffrey is survived by a son, Codi Supernault, a daughter Kayla (Jason) White, two grandchildren, Logan and Lillian White, a sister Karen LaBare, one nephew, Brian Broeker and his companion Ryah Stark, and a great nephew Jake Stark.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, David and Daniel Supernault.
Calling Hours will take place Friday, November 26, 2021 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone, N.Y. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Alfred Fish presiding. Burial will take place in Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Brushton Vol. Fire Department or Moira E.M.S.
