Obituary of Christopher G. Carter

Christopher G. Carter, 38, of Bangor, was taken from us too soon on March 18th, 2022, after being in the ICU at CVPH, where he received excellent care. Chris was born on May 14th, 1983, on Fort Belvoir Army Base in Fairfax, VA. Chris is survived by his 3 children, Cayden, Trinity, and Alyza that he cherished and doted on. He is also survived by his parents, Rodney and Lorraine Bessey, brothers, Seth Carter (Nicole Peck), Rodney Bessey (Meagan Bessey), and his favorite sister Kari Bessey (Ron Pryce), and many nieces and nephews that adored him. Chris was raised in North Bangor and graduated from Brushton-Moira High School. He was a dedicated father first and foremost who was never shy to share how proud of his children he was. Chris was also an HVAC engineer who spent many hours both at work and partaking in shenanigans with his boss and friend. He was a committed baseball coach for his son’s team, enjoyed hiking every mountain he could with his children, greatly enjoyed fishing, and best of all, he was a great friend. Above all, Chris believed in family, and everyone that knew him knew that he would be there for them no matter the circumstances. He will never be forgotten and will forever be remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him. Please join us in celebrating Christopher’s life this Saturday, March 26th, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Bangor Fire Department located at 2367 US-11, North Bangor.
