Obituary of Helen F. Lunan

Helen F. Lunan, 75, of Dickinson, N.Y., passed away on June 7, 2022 at University of Vermont Health Network: Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y. with her family at her side. She was born on July 22, 1946 to the late William and Chloe (Bessey) Vermette in Malone, N.Y. On February 13, 1965, she was wed to the late Kenneth Lunan at St. Mary’s of the Fort Church in Fort Covington, N.Y. He predeceased her on June 25, 2019. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing ceramics and reading. Survivors include her son Ross Lunan of Dickinson, her daughter Donna Lunan of Malone, her brothers Thomas (Diane) Vermette of Bristol, CT., Roy Vermette of Malone and Albert Vermette and his companion Carolyn Leach of Trout River, N.Y., as well as her granddaughter Shelby Lunan of Brushton, N.Y. and a great grandson Arthur Tavernia of Malone. Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers; Gerald and Donald Vermette. The family will hold a celebration of Life at a later date. Donations may be made in Helen’s name to the Dickinson Fire and Rescue Department.
