Sylvie, Judith Lynne, and family. I am deeply saddened for the sorrow and pain you have endured over the past few months. Tante Anita was truly one of the finest persons I have ever known. She and Ray were such a blessing to have in the lives of my parents. They were true blue friends who could be counted on to treat everyone with respect. I, too, count myself very fortunate to have been a recipient their support and love. And I loved them both dearly,
When Lincoln was sick in 2017, your parents came very frequently to offer support and friendship. An anecdote I will share is that caring for my father was pretty exhausting, (as I'm sure you know) and often left my brain on auto pilot just to get everything done. Your parents arrived one day and Anita asked me what they could do. Without thinking I said, "maybe bring us dinner." Your mom chuckled and and said, in a sweet yet sceptical voice, "are you sure?" and made a comment about her cooking skills. A few hours later I realized how much I had asked of her, with her vision failing and age. Before I could call her, your parents showed up with a beautiful meal for Lincoln, Mom and I. What a blessing. What friendship! What love! As with you, your Mom and I said "I love you" every time we saw each other. I am so sorry I can not be with you physically today, but rest assured I am with you in spirit. With love to all of you,
Julie Johnston
