Obituary of Floyd B. Jeror, Sr.

Floyd B. Jeror,Sr., 93, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on May 22, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. Born on November 13, 1929 in Malone, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irene Jeror. He attended local schools and worked at General Motors in Massena, N.Y. He would marry the former Ernestine Bigness. She predeceased him on February 21, 2020. Survivors include his sons; Floyd (Deborah A.) Jeror, Jr. of Adams, N.Y. and Ricky (Rebecca) Jeror of North Port, FL., his daughters Sharon Jeror of Malone, Bonnie (Leland) Lamay of Malone, Kathryn Smyth of Malone, Cindy Jeror of Malone, Pattie (Renodyne) Norton-Gero of Brasher Falls, N.Y. and Jodi Jeror of Malone, as well as 14 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. A calling hour will take place from 10-11a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Milligan presiding. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery in Malone.
