Obituary of Theresa N. Willett Wiltz

~Therese N. “Terre” Willett Wiltz, 60, of Whippleville, NY., passed away Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2017, at her home, while under the loving care of her family and Hospice of the North Country, Inc.
   Born in Malone, NY., June 10, 1957, she was the daughter of Robert and Frieda Schmidt Willett, Sr. She graduated from Franklin Academy, in Malone, NY., and attended the University of Miami.
   On February 6, 1982, she was united in marriage to Jay A. Wiltz, in Minneapolis, MN. He survives.
   Terre worked as a Medical Tech at Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility, in Burlington, VT., for more than twenty five years. She retired in 2009.
   She enjoyed spending time at her camp, canoeing, watching the loons, reading, traveling, going to the ocean and collecting sea shells. She was an avid animal lover.
   Along with her husband, Jay, she is survived by her mother, Frieda Willett of Malone, NY., two sons, Robert and Andrew Wiltz and one daughter, Cassandra Wiltz all of Burlington, VT., three brothers and four sisters in law, Robert and Mary Willett, Frederick and Sandra Willett, John and Sylvia Willett and Dana Willett all of Malone, NY., one sister and brother in law, Cheryl and Gregory Wilcox of Port Ewen, NY., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
   She was predeceased by her father, Robert Willett, Sr., and one brother, William J. Willett on May 19, 2013.
   There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, July 24, 2017, at 10 a.m,, at Notre Dame Church, in Malone, NY.
   Donations may be made in her memory to the Alice Ballard Fund of Hospice of the North Country, Inc. in Malone, NY.
