Obituary of Richard F. Ellsworth

Richard F. Ellsworth, 62, of Fort Covington, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on August 17, 2023 on the family farm in Fort Covington. Born on October 23, 1960 in Malone, N.Y., he was the son of the late John and Jean Collins Ellsworth. He was a graduate of Salmon River Central School and worked on the Ellsworth Dairy Farm. He loved a good boat ride, family gatherings, the family farm, the Montreal Canadiens and great conversations and stories. He is survived by his brothers Donald (Kathy) Ellsworth of Fort Covington and David (Elizabeth) Ellsworth of Tulsa, Ok, a sister Mary Beth Premo of Massena, N.Y., Nieces and Nephews; Matthew (Kassaundra), Steffanie, Jeremy, Andrew (Stacy), Beth, Amie (Jeremy), Andrew, Daniel, Michael (Laurel),as well as many cousins. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Janet Ellsworth, and nephews Aaron and Seth.. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 24 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Fort Covington.
