Obituary of Jodi L. Andrews

Jodi Andrews, 52, of Malone passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 24, 2023, while under the care of University of Vermont Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Born in Malone, NY on January 28, 1971, to William and Judith McCabe. She attended Bishop Smith until graduating from Franklin Academy in 1989. Shortly after graduation, she started working for Alice Hyde Medical Center. Jodi married Michael Andrews Jr. on August 25, 2007. She loved spending time outdoors and most of all with her grandkids. Jodi had a loving, free-willed personality that would put a smile on anyone’s face. She also looked forward to Sunday dinners every week. Along with her husband Michael Andrews Jr., Jodi is survived by her mother Judith McCabe, her daughters Jaimee Brown and Rylee Andrews, both of Malone, her son Jonathan Brown of Malone and stepson Justin Andrews of Malone. Her sisters Kimberly and David Hearl of Florida, Kelly Tavernia, and her partner Dennis McBride of Arizona. The joys of her life, Jodi’s grandsons Hunter, Luke, and Hudson. Beloved sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jodi is predeceased by her father William McCabe and her brother-in-law Cory Andrews. Her paternal grandparents William and Anna McCabe of Malone, her maternal grandparents Charles and Loretta Wilcox of Bangor. Calling hours will be at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral home on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, starting at 9:00 am until 11:45 am. A mass at Notre Dame Church will follow at 12 pm and then a celebration of life will follow at the Amvets of Malone starting at 3:00 pm. Arrangements are under the care of the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service in Malone.
