Obituary of Isabel N. Raville

Isabel N. Raville, age 104, of Malone, N.Y., passed away on October 20, 2023. Born in Westville, N.Y. on June 3, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Kelly Kelsey. On July 7, 1946, she was wed to the late Vernon Raville. He passed away in 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of the Malone Auto Club, where she volunteered at the food tent for the auto shows. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bowling, and playing shuffleboard. She leaves behind her three sons and the wives: Darrel and Lucille Raville, Donald and Donna Raville and Wayne and Mimi Raville, all from Malone, as well as nine grandchildren: Darrel J. Raville, Shawn Raville, Tina Raville-Smith, Mindy Raville, Jeffrey Raville, Jennifer Raville, Danny Raville, Michael Raville and Janet Raville, as well as nine great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Vernard, Carl, Edgar and Clifton Kelsey, and her sister Gertrude Avery. An hour of visitation will take place from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, November 4 at Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home. A prayer service will take place in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service of Malone.
