Obituary of Nancy Taylor

Nancy Taylor, 74, of Fort Covington, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born June 22, 1950 in Rochester, the daughter of Edwin and Mary (De Mar) Patnode.
Nancy loved to sing at church, she also enjoyed helping out at church and planning events there. She was a member of the Sisters Keepers church group. She enjoyed helping people and never was one to say no to anyone. God, family and friends were the most dear to her. Nancy was a talented painter, she enjoyed flowers and gardening as well as going on trips with friends. In her younger years, she loved to perform at the Malone Winter Carnival Revue. The Taylor Family Christmas meant the world to her and she loved hosting Thanksgiving dinner.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Gerald; and one son, Lance Taylor.
Left to cherish memories of Nancy are three sons, Randy Taylor of Brainardsville, David Taylor and his fiancé Marie Boileu of Burke and Robert Taylor and his wife Brandi of Fort Covington; two daughters, Lynn Gokey of Constable and Victoria Taylor of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Antoinette Taylor of Pennsylvania. Nancy is also survived by her companion, Allen Richmond of Fort Covington.
Calling hours will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cooks Corners Wesleyan Church. A funeral service will follow. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
